No matter who you are, or what has happened in the past, you are God’s precious child, worthy of love. You belong.

We greatly value our diversity and we strive to celebrate everyone’s uniqueness. The Good Samaritan community includes people from places all over the world. We are challenged to overcome language and cultural barriers but we believe God calls us to go beyond our comfort zones to discover what makes us each sacred in God’s eyes. Because we are all one in Christ, our prayer is that we will continue to find ways to cross boundaries to experience moments of real connection.

Good Samaritan Church is a member of the Reconciling Ministry Network, and welcome all people into the full life of the church, including people who identify as LGBTQ. The Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN) mobilizes United Methodists of all sexual orientations and gender identities to transform our Church and world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.

Our Welcome Statement

The Good Samaritan United Methodist Church believes all persons are created in God’s image and are of sacred worth.
