When there is a fifth Sunday of the month, we take on projects in the community like serving lunch at a shelter, cleaning up a school site, helping a senior citizen with their yard, writing cards to the elderly, packing food for the hungry, and much more.

Project Panda at Stocklmeir Elementary School: Good Samaritan recruits community volunteers to serve at Stocklmeir Elementary as classroom helpers, Project Cornerstone aides, and for special events. Volunteers need a current TB test and provided training.

Adopt-A-Miracle outreach to women in recovery: Once a month fun nights are put on for women in residential recovery programs showing that clean, sober fun and fellowship can be a reality.

Men’s Rotating Shelter: As part of Faith in Action, Good Samaritan is one of 12 churches that host the Rotating Shelter. During the month of September each year we house and feed 15 men who are in transitional housing. We have volunteers who cook, shop, and host the men who are our guests during that month.
